The organisation

Fostering Education & Environment for Development (FEED) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization registered with the Philippine Securities and Exchange Commission. FEED supports sustainable education & tree planting, aiming to inclusively grow, preserve and protect Philippine biodiversity. FEED has been working with Philippine’s most prominent public University of the Philippines, Los Baños (UPLB), since 2001, providing scholarships and supporting tree planting activities.

Accomplishments

In collaboration with the UPLB, FEED is aiming to reforest over 9,000 hectares indigenous Philippine woods in the Sierra Madre mountain range, also in consideration of generating sustainable agro-forestry livelihood opportunities for the local communities Laguna and Quezon provinces.
